What Is IEPFORGE?

IEPFORGE is FirstSteps’ digital platform for creating, managing, and tracking Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children who need structured learning support. An Individual Education Plan is a tailored roadmap for a child’s learning. It sets out where the child is right now, where they need to get to, what specific support they will receive, and how progress will be measured. For children with learning difficulties, a well-constructed IEP is one of the most powerful tools available.

Why We Built It

In many Nigerian schools, IEPs are either absent, poorly structured, or written once and never revisited. Children who need tailored support fall through the gaps, not because no one cares, but because the tools and systems to support them consistently do not exist.

We built IEPFORGE to change that. It is a practical solution built for the realities of Nigerian school environments, without requiring specialist software or extensive training to use.

Is IEPFORGE Only for FirstSteps Families?
